Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft. Linked part numbers go to the maker's or official distributor's page for that part.
How these numbers were settled
Vanquish prints '13T/56T Pinion/Spur' (and '32P 56T Spur and 13T Steel Pinion' in the feature list), '3.75:1 Axle Gear Ratio' and 'Internal Trans Ratio: Front 2.95 / Rear 3.15'.
- The rear reduction after the spur is 3.15 x 3.75 = 11.81, so the rear total is 56 / 13 x 11.81 = 50.9.
- The same page also prints 'Overall Gear Ratio: Front 41.3 / Rear 44.0', which only works with a 15T pinion and matches the 15T VS4-10 Pro kit; it is treated as carried over, and the printed tooth counts and stages are kept.
- Vanquish's Phoenix RTR, on the same 13T/56T VFD and 3.75 axles, prints 50.8.
- Tires are the included Falken Wildpeak M/T, printed as 4.65 in x 1.9 in, so 118.1mm.
- The VM-1 motor is a 35T brushed can, so there is no KV.
- The VE-1 ESC is Vanquish's version of the Hobbywing 1060, and Vanquish states it is 3S LiPo capable.
- Grey (VPS09012B) and blue (VPS09012A) are colour versions of the same truck.
