Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft. How these numbers were settled
The machined aluminum axle version of the Origin Classic.
- Vanquish prints 'Axle Ratio 3.75:1, Pinion 15T 32P, Spur 52T 32P, Overall Front Ratio 38.3:1, Overall Rear Ratio 40.9:1, Final Overdrive 6.5%', the same gearing as the Origin Classic.
- The rear total is used and the front is 38.3:1; the ratio after the spur is 40.9 x 15 / 52 = 11.80.
- Battle Born X-Ray 1.9 wheels are included but tires and electronics are not, so tire size, KV and cell count do not apply.
- Black (VPS09026B) and clear (VPS09026C) anodizing share the spec.
