Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft. Linked part numbers go to the maker's or official distributor's page for that part.
How these numbers were settled
Vanquish prints '3.75:1 Axle Gear Ratio, 13T/56T Pinion/Spur, Overall Front Ratio (Standard 6.5% OD): 47.6:1, Overall Front Ratio (Optional High 46% OD): 31.8:1, Overall Rear Ratio: 50.8:1'.
- The VFD Twin transmission's overdrive selector changes only the front, so the rear 50.8 is used.
- The ratio after the spur is 50.8 x 13 / 56 = 11.79.
- Tires are the included Falken Wildpeak M/T, printed as 4.65 in x 1.9 in, so 118.1mm.
- The VM-1 motor is a 35T brushed can, so there is no KV.
- The VE-1 ESC is Vanquish's version of the Hobbywing 1060, and Vanquish states it is 3S LiPo capable.
- Red (VPS09011A) and grey (VPS09011B) are colour versions.
