Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft. Linked part numbers go to the maker's or official distributor's page for that part.
How these numbers were settled
Vanquish prints '5.25:1 Axle Gear Ratio, 15T Pinion, 52T Spur Gear, 1.4:1 Portal Gear Ratio, High-Pinion Hypoid Machined Axle Gears (30/8)', and 'Overall Front Ratio (Standard 6.5% OD): 53.7:1, Overall Front Ratio (High 46% OD): 35.8:1, Overall Rear Ratio: 57.2:1'.
- The rear 57.2 is used because the VFD Twin's overdrive selector changes only the front.
- The ratio after the spur is 57.2 x 15 / 52 = 16.5, and it includes the 1.4 portal (30/8 = 3.75 ring and pinion, x 1.4 = 5.25 axle).
- Falken Wildpeak M/T tires are included, printed as 4.65 in x 1.9 in, so 118.1mm.
- Motor, ESC and radio are left to the builder, so KV and cell count do not apply.
