What the site is

A free set of calculators for RC cars and trucks, and a catalog of stock vehicle spec sheets. There are no accounts and nothing to buy. We may change, add or remove features, calculators or vehicles at any time, and may stop running the site.

Results are estimates

Every figure the site calculates is theoretical. Top speed, runtime, current and the rest come from formulas that leave out drag, load, voltage sag, heat, slip and wear, as the methodology page explains. Real vehicles behave differently.

Nothing here is engineering, electrical or safety advice. Check your manufacturer’s manual and ratings before changing gearing, batteries or electronics. LiPo batteries can catch fire, over-geared motors and ESCs can overheat, and fast RC vehicles can hurt people and damage property. You are responsible for how you set up, charge and run your vehicle, and for following local laws and track or venue rules.

Vehicle specs

Spec sheets are compiled from manufacturer pages, manuals, official distributors and, where marked, other published sources. Each sheet lists its sources and says which figures are unpublished, estimated or calculated. We try to get them right, but makers revise products, publish errors and contradict themselves, so a figure here can be wrong or out of date. Confirm anything that matters against the manufacturer.

RCTuneLab.com is independent. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any manufacturer, distributor or retailer named on the site.

Trademarks, photos and logos

Brand names, model names, part numbers and logos belong to their owners and are used only to identify the products they describe. Vehicle photos are the manufacturers’ or retailers’ own images, credited and linked on each spec sheet. If you own one of these and want it removed, email us (see below) and we will take it down.

Copyright

The site’s own text, calculators, code, design and the compiled vehicle catalog are © RCTuneLab.com. You are welcome to use the calculators, share your results, link to any page, and quote reasonable portions with credit and a link back.

Please don’t copy pages or the catalog wholesale to republish, sell or pass off as your own without permission. Figures themselves, such as a tooth count or a ratio, are facts and are free to use; it is the compilation, writing and presentation that are ours.

Reporting a copyright problem

If you believe something on the site infringes your copyright, email hello@rctunelab.com with: the page address, what you believe is infringing, the work you own, your contact details, and a statement that you are the owner or authorized to act for them and that the report is accurate. We will review it and remove material that should not be here.

Your data

Saved setups, pins and preferences stay in your own browser. We don’t receive them and can’t recover them if your browser data is cleared. The privacy page has the details.

Fair use of the site

Don’t try to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site, and don’t scrape it at a rate that affects other visitors. Reading pages and the published vehicle file for search, reference or answering questions is fine.

Links to other sites

Spec sheets link to manufacturer, distributor and retailer pages. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, prices or availability.

No warranty, limited liability

The site is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent the law allows, RCTuneLab.com is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its figures, including damage to vehicles, batteries, electronics or property, or injury. The site is free; if you are unhappy with it, your remedy is to stop using it.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. Questions, corrections to a spec sheet, or takedown requests: hello@rctunelab.com.
