Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft.
How these numbers were settled
The VS4-10 kit with aluminum D44 axles and the 3-gear transmission rather than the VFD, so front and rear share one ratio.
- Vanquish prints '3.75:1 Axle Ratio, 2.6:1 Transmission Internal Ratio, 40.5:1 Overall Reduction, 13T (3mm shaft) 32P Pinion Included, 54T 32P Spur Gear Included'.
- The ratio after the spur is 2.6 x 3.75 = 9.75, and 54 / 13 x 9.75 = 40.5 matches the printed total.
- The kit includes KMC Machete beadlock wheels and VXT tires that Vanquish states are 4.65 in tall, so 118.1mm.
- No electronics are supplied, so KV and cell count do not apply.
