Vanquish Products H10 Optic Kit

Stock is as the vehicle ships. Calculated is worked from the stock figures on this page rather than stored beside them, so the two cannot drift apart. Derived is worked out from gear tooth counts the maker publishes rather than printed as a ratio; the notes below say how. Not applicable means the vehicle does not come with it, like the motor on a roller or the tires on a race kit, or does not have one, like a KV rating on a brushed motor.

Gearing parts

Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft. Linked part numbers go to the maker's or official distributor's page for that part.

How these numbers were settled

The kit page prints 'Pinion 13T 32P, Spur 56T 32P, Axle Ratio 3.75:1' with 'Overall Front Ratio 41.3:1, Overall Rear Ratio 44.0:1', but 44.0 only works with a 15T pinion.

• The kit manual settles it: the transmission step calls out a 15T pinion (IRC00263), the parts list names a '15T 32P PINION', and the gear ratio chart shades 15T on the 56T spur at 44.0 rear.
• The manual's 15T is used, so the ratio after the spur is 44.0 x 15 / 56 = 11.79 at the rear.
• Wheels, tires and electronics are not included (the page recommends 4.75 in tall 1.9 tires), so tire size, KV and cell count do not apply.
• Liveries are packed at random under one SKU.
