Stock is as the vehicle ships. Calculated is worked from the stock figures on this page rather than stored beside them, so the two cannot drift apart. Not applicable means the vehicle does not come with it, like the motor on a roller or the tires on a race kit, or does not have one, like a KV rating on a brushed motor.
Gearing parts
| Component | Teeth | Pitch | Bore | Part number |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fitted at the factory | ||||
| Pinion | 18T | 48P | 3.175 mm | 1336 (opens in a new tab)Team Associated |
| Spur | 87T | 48P | Not applicable | 9654 (opens in a new tab)Team Associated |
Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft (3.15 mm on the stock motor). Linked part numbers go to the maker's or official distributor's page for that part.
How these numbers were settled
Element's spec table prints 'Internal Gear Ratio: varies' because the Stealth X gearbox turns the front and rear axles at different speeds, so the transmission and axle ratio and the final drive are left blank.
- The page's other figure, 'Internal Gear Ratio: 3.75:1', is the 30T/8T ring and pinion ratio alone.
- The manual names an 18T 48P pinion (#1336) and an 87T 48P spur (#9654), a fixed 20T-28T-52T front train with the 27T-53T rear pair fitted (5.7% front overdrive), an 8T pinion (#42235) and ring gear #42335 in the IFS front gearbox, and the same 30T ring gear (#42335) with an 8T pinion in the rear axle.
- Worked out from those tooth counts, the total reduction is about 47.1:1 at the front and 49.8:1 at the rear; the included 26T-54T rear pair (11.83% overdrive) gives about 52.7:1 at the rear.
- The manual's gearbox step marks the pinion and its set screw 'Not Included', although the truck is sold ready to run with the motor fitted.
- The manual lists 1.9 x 4.19 x 1.4 in General Grabber A/T X tires (#42275), and Element's part page gives the 4.19 in as the diameter.
- The 14-turn 5-slot 550 motor is brushed, so KV does not apply; Reedy's sheet for its Crawler 550 14T motor gives a 3.15 mm shaft.
- Element's page calls for a 6-cell NiMH or 2S or 3S LiPo pack for the Flysky ESC/receiver.

Every figure on this page traces to one of these. Where they disagreed, the note above says which was used and why.
