The second Enduro Trail Truck Builder's Kit is a 1/10 four-wheel-drive crawler chassis kit from Element, built by you and sold without motor, pinion, electronics, body, wheels or tires.
Like the first kit it pairs an 87T 48P spur with the Stealth X gearbox, and both overdrive gear sets come in the box, so you choose how much faster the front axle turns. The chassis is 462 mm long on a 313 mm wheelbase, with 12 mm hexes and 30 wt shock oil. Choose a body that fits the 313 mm wheelbase before you settle on wheels and tires.
Weigh each corner to balance the chassis, then work out reduction and axle overdrive.

Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft. How these numbers were settled
The kit ships without motor, pinion, ESC, servo, receiver, body, wheels or tires; Element lists a 540-size motor with a 48-pitch pinion, wheels with 12 mm hex mounting and tires among the items needed to complete it.
- Element's spec table prints 'Internal Gear Ratio: varies' because the Stealth X gearbox turns the front and rear axles at different speeds, so the transmission and axle ratio and the final drive are left blank.
- The manual names an 87T 48P spur (#9654), a fixed 20T-28T-52T front train with the 27T-53T rear pair fitted (5.7% front overdrive), and 30T/8T ring and pinion gears in both axles, and Element's page says both the 5.7% and 11.83% overdrive gears are in the box.
- Those work out to about 9.75:1 after the spur at the front and 10.31:1 at the rear; the included 26T-54T rear pair (11.83% overdrive) gives about 10.90:1 at the rear.
