The Enduro Comp Fox is Element's 1/10 four-wheel-drive competition rock crawler kit with portal axles, built by you and sold without motor, pinion or electronics.
An 87T 48P spur feeds the Stealth X gearbox, and portal gears at each wheel add a final reduction, so the overall ratio depends on the pinion you fit. The kit weighs 1.19 kg without electronics, measures 410 mm long on a 322 mm wheelbase, and takes 12 mm hex wheels. If you're building for competition, weigh your motor, servo and battery choices against that 1.19 kg base.
Weigh each corner to balance the chassis, then work out reduction and axle overdrive.

Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft. How these numbers were settled
Element's spec table prints 'Internal Gear Ratio: varies' because the Stealth X gearbox turns the front and rear axles at different speeds, so the transmission and axle ratio and the final drive are left blank.
- The manual names an 87T 48P spur (#9654), a fixed 20T-28T-52T front train with the 27T-53T rear pair fitted (5.7% front overdrive), 30T/8T ring and pinion gears and 15T and 20T portal gears (#42372) in both axles.
- The gearbox and ring and pinion gears work out to about 9.75:1 after the spur at the front and 10.31:1 at the rear, before the portal stage; the manual does not say which portal gear drives, so the portal reduction is not added.
- Element's page describes the stock portal gearing as zero percent underdrive and offers an optional 12/23 portal set under the same part number as the stock 15T/20T set.
- The manual's build shows an 18T pinion (#1336) and marks it, the motor, ESC, receiver, servo and battery 'Not Included'.
- The manual has no wheel or tire step and Element prints no tire size for this kit, so the tire is left blank.
- The weight is Element's figure without electronics.
