This MINI-Z RWD MR-04 McLaren P1 GTR Pebble Beach Show 2015 combines a factory-finished replica body with the fourth-generation MR-04 rear-wheel-drive chassis. The chassis places its four AAA running batteries lower than the MR-03 layout and uses revised front steering knuckles. A gear differential and ball bearings are included. The supplied Syncro KT-531P transmitter supports steering and throttle adjustment and a reduced-speed training mode.

The McLaren package moves the completed MINI-Z RWD format to the MR-04 chassis, with revised steering and a lower center of gravity relative to the MR-03. A brushed 130-class motor and KT-531P transmitter remain part of the Readyset. Try one change at a time on the same surface, and check the local class rules before adding a gyro or changing the motor. The McLaren P1 GTR uses the 98mm MM layout, with 1.5mm narrow front and 1.5mm wide rear wheel offsets. Keep that combination in mind when choosing wheels, a rear motor pod or another body. A rear damper or ball differential needs to match the motor layout and axle; a part listed for MR-04 is not enough by itself. This replaces the Readyset's rear gear differential with an adjustable ball differential. It gives you a way to tune rear differential action using the intended adjustment, rather than leaving the original Readyset differential unchanged.
