Factory installation documented. Exact 32375SO owner installation and measured handling results remain unverified.
Installation notes
- Applies to McLaren P1 GTR Pebble Beach Show 2015 32375SO with its brushed MR-04 RWD electronics and KT-531P transmitter.
- Buy one MZW711 set. The installation sheet identifies one included 1.2 x 3.5 mm TP mounting screw; retain the chassis and its R/C unit.
- Remove the small gyro cover, install the unit with its component-free side facing up, secure it with the supplied screw and connect the cable as illustrated on manual pages 43-44.
- Adjust assistance using the chassis volume control. The manual gives a roughly 270 degree range and says the leftmost position disables the gyro.
- MZW711 is for R/C Unit 2.1. The EVO gyro MZW712 and older Readyset MZW446 are separate electronic identities.
- This adds electronic correction rather than altering steering geometry. No lap-time improvement is established.
