Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft. How these numbers were settled
Nitro 1/10 touring car kit with a two-speed transmission; the 12-15 class engine and rubber tires are sold separately.
- Kyosho's Technical Data gives 'Gear Ratio 7.18／5.09：1', and second gear, 5.09, is stored as the fitted total.
- The spare-parts list gives a 0.8 module 21T second gear (VZW231-21C) and a 56T second spur (VZ413-56B), so the ratio after the spur works out to 5.09 x 21/56 = 1.909.
- The tire size is left blank.
