The MR-04EVO2 chassis set revises the fourth-generation MINI-Z platform with front suspension arm version 2.0 and a radio unit supporting motor-speed control. The W-MM package includes an 8500Kv sensored brushless motor, ball differential and parts for changing front track width. Body, tires, wheels and receiver are chosen separately.

The EVO2 chassis set separates the MR-04 race platform from the completed brushed RWD Readysets. Its W-MM layout and XSPEED 85 brushless motor define the configuration, while the body and control equipment must match the chassis-set requirements. Choose the racing class, receiver and body before finishing the 8500Kv EVO2 chassis. It already includes a sensored brushless motor, ball differential and front suspension arms 2.0, so older MR-04 repair lists can duplicate hardware that is already fitted. The supplied MM layout is built around a 98mm wheelbase. A different body can need a different motor pod, axle, T-plate and wheel offset together. Use tires, front springs and T-plate stiffness to make the car consistent on the track you run. Add rear damping to address bounce or chatter once that foundation is settled, then compare the change on the same tires. This adds automatic steering and throttle correction to the EVO2 chassis. The preset assistance can be used with the chosen compatible radio, while remote adjustment depends on the transmitter functions available.
Factory installation documented. Exact 32893 owner installation and quantified performance remain unverified.A lower speed motor gives this 8500KV chassis a more restrained power option for a smaller course or a class that specifies that motor. It gives up motor speed at the same voltage; it does not by itself establish class eligibility or a measured driving result.
Manufacturer-listed motors and replacement procedure. Exact 32893 installation and measured outcomes remain unverified.This carbon-plate friction damper adds an adjustable way to control the rear motor pod. Kyosho includes three spring stiffnesses and permits the standard pitching damper to remain. It is an optional suspension tuning component; it does not require the separately sold oil shock or aluminum mount.
MZW709 is a listed MR-04 EVO2/MM tuning option. The stock pitching damper may remain; check the chosen body and wiring through rear suspension travel.
