Installation notes
- Buy one MZF-F23 body set, one two-wheel MZF-W01F pack, one two-wheel MZF-W01R pack, one two-tire MZF-TS01F pack and one two-tire MZF-TS01R pack. Wheels and tires are excluded from the body set.
- The body pack supplies the front wing, shell/halo and small parts, rear wing, helmet and three mounting screws: one each 2 x 6 mm flat-head tapping, 2 x 6 mm bind tapping and 3 x 8 mm flat-head tapping screw.
- Scope is the existing wide-front 98 mm MM chassis. Retain its MZ714 MM motor case, suspension, differential, motor and electronics. MR-03 needs its separately specified MR-04 motor case and potentially MZ206C/MZ708; that is a different recipe.
- Cut away printing supports, test fit and glue the small body parts. Remove the original front body mount and reuse its two screws for the front wing. A 4.5 mm deep box driver, cutters, adhesive and suitable paint are additional workshop supplies.
- Remove the spur gear guard and set the rear axle to the highest position in the existing ride-height inserts. Fit the rear wing to the motor case, retain the stock differential shaft, then use the supplied fasteners and hook the body sides into the chassis slots.
- Bend the brushed motor positive terminal upward as illustrated on page 8 to clear the wing mount tab. Check the motor lead does not impede suspension.
- A rain TPU pair can replace each slick pack using exact MZF-TR01F/R. With Kyosho rubber tires, the maker requires two rubber tires per wheel: one four-tire MZW39-30 front pack and one four-tire MZW17-20B rear pack. These are alternative tire recipes, not extra purchases for the TPU route.
- UV resin is less tolerant of bending than ABS. Minor fit adjustment may be needed; avoid storage or running above 40 C and direct sunlight. Keep the original radio and four-cell AAA power system. No F1 class legality or speed benefit was verified.
