Lower speed sensored motor

Installation notes

• Choose one motor route, not both: MZ705 5600KV or MZ706 4100KV. Both are MR-04EVO2 sensored motors listed against exact chassis 32893.
• Retain the MM motor case, motor holder, guides, pinion, pitching damper, wiring and electronics. Inspect reused parts rather than ordering another complete motor pod.
• The MM procedure on pages 39-41 removes the damper with two 2 x 6 mm TP screws, disconnects the motor, opens the holder and transfers the motor guides and pinion.
• Use the supplied pinion/C-ring tool as illustrated. Reconnect phase leads by the factory color diagram and retain the sensor connection shown by the wiring diagram; avoid trapping wires.
• The factory manual specifies 6T or 7T pinions for ordinary driving and warns that 8T/9T increase load. Use the correct paired motor guides and inspect free gear movement.
• The narrow MM2 motor procedure is separate. Choosing a lower speed motor does not require converting this W-MM chassis into the N-MM2 configuration.
• Check applicable class rules and controller settings. No speed, runtime, thermal or durability result has been measured for this exact combination.
