Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft (3.2 mm on the stock motor). Linked part numbers go to the maker's or official distributor's page for that part.
How these numbers were settled
The Blackout XTE manual's parts identification page lists a BS214-006 '18T Motor gear' and the BS213-029A spur gear unit.
- The Blackout SC manual's exploded view shows that unit carrying the BS213-026 spur, which a Redcat dealer lists as a '55T Mod 0.8 (32 pitch)' stock part for the Blackout series.
- The reduction after the spur is left blank because the diff unit (BS903-104) and the gear shaft unit (BS213-025) are sold without tooth counts, so the final drive is blank too.
- The tire diameter is also left blank: Redcat's stock tire BS214-009 has been listed as '4.25 inches (122mm)', which contradicts itself, since 4.25in is 108mm.
- The manual lists a 1/10 waterproof brushed ESC, and Redcat's page for its HW-WP-1040-Brushed replacement lists the Blackout XTE and gives 'Max Battery: 3s 11.1v Lipo'.
- The motor is a 550 brushed can, so no KV.
- RER07010 and RER07011 are colour versions of the same 4WD truck.
