Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft. Linked part numbers go to the maker's or official distributor's page for that part.
How these numbers were settled
The Blackout XTE Pro manual's parts identification page lists a BS214-005 '17T Motor gear', the BS213-029A spur gear unit, a BS214-008 '540 Brushless Motor KV3800' and an HW-WP-10BL60-RTR-D Hobbywing 60A ESC.
- The spur inside the BS213-029A unit is BS213-026, which a Redcat dealer lists as a '55T Mod 0.8 (32 pitch)' stock part for the Blackout series.
- Hobbywing rates the QuicRun WP-10BL60 for 2-3S LiPo, but its own motor limit for off-road trucks on 3S is under 3000KV, so this 3800KV motor is meant for 2S; the truck ships with a 2S 7.4V LiPo.
- The reduction after the spur and the final drive are left blank because the diff and gear shaft units have no published tooth counts.
- The tire diameter is left blank because Redcat's stock tire BS214-009 has been listed as '4.25 inches (122mm)', which contradicts itself.
- RER07013 and RER07014 are colour versions of the same 4WD truck.
