Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft. How these numbers were settled
The brushless Typhon Grom, a 1/14 buggy with a Spektrum Firma 2838 4500Kv motor and the Spektrum Firma 25A 2-in-1 ESC and receiver rated for 2S or 3S LiPo.
- Horizon's spec table prints Pinion 21T, Spur 59, Internal Gear Ratio 2.50 and Final Drive 7.02, and 59/21 x 2.5 = 7.02.
- The standard-parts list confirms it: a 30T diff with 12T input gears (30/12 = 2.5).
- No diameter is published for the stock dBoots 2-HO Grom tire, so it is left blank.
- The same set also ships with a battery and charger as ARA2306S.
