Background
This Top-Force reissue is identified by kit number 58362. It brings the original low-profile four-wheel-drive buggy into a later production edition, between the 1991 original and the 47350 reissue. Its numbered assembly instructions preserve the FRP Top-Force layout, original-style tires and a Type 540 motor, while the later 47350 edition uses a different tire package. The Top-Force layout combines a double-deck chassis, shaft drive and adjustable independent suspension. The family was conceived around a low wedge body and a protective undercowl, with ball differentials and a range of suspension settings. Keeping the exact kit number visible is useful because later production uses different tires and may have different radio-completion arrangements. Factory model information (opens in a new tab). Assembly manual (opens in a new tab).
For a used runner, work through the numbered manual before ordering a collection of upgrades. Establish the motor-mount position, free drivetrain movement and standard damper build first. A restoration with period parts and a later electronic running build can look alike while needing different electrical checks and replacement hardware. Factory model information (opens in a new tab). How to read these figures
- Stock is as the vehicle ships.
- Calculated is worked from the stock figures on this page rather than stored beside them, so the two cannot drift apart.
- Not applicable means the vehicle does not come with it, like the motor on a roller or the tires on a race kit.
- Not published means it exists but no source we could find prints it.

Build and setup
Factory setup guide for this configuration.
Work from the factory manual carrying 58362 rather than the later 47350 instructions. Its motor, suspension and radio assembly provide a baseline for identifying a used kit before ordering additional hardware. Check the damper and ball-differential components against the illustrated assembly, and retain the printed service codes when locating replacements.[1] Exact numbered factory assembly manual (opens in a new tab)[2] Factory design history and exact reissue context (opens in a new tab)
The setup page explains tires, toe, camber and damper balance. Start at the assembly positions and change one aspect for the surface. A softer front and firmer rear damper balance is described for understeer, with the opposite adjustment for oversteer; make gradual changes and check the result.[1] Exact numbered factory assembly manual (opens in a new tab)[2] Factory design history and exact reissue context (opens in a new tab)

Inspect the ball differentials, shafts and bearings before choosing more motor. The standard FRP Top-Force and carbon Evolution have different equipment, while later Top-Force reissues can use a different tire package. Verify the exact parts drawing rather than transferring every option by family name.[1] Exact numbered factory assembly manual (opens in a new tab)[2] Factory design history and exact reissue context (opens in a new tab)
Check the motor-mount position against the actual pinion and controller, then confirm free gear rotation. The manual is a useful build reference, but it does not establish a universal motor-can clearance, LiPo limit or aftermarket fitment claim.[1] Exact numbered factory assembly manual (opens in a new tab)[2] Factory design history and exact reissue context (opens in a new tab)
