Not published means it exists but no source we could find prints it.

How these numbers were settled

The modern Hornet.

• Tamiya prints 'Gear ratio = 9.28:1 (with kit 17T pinion)', so the pinion is published but the spur is not, and the transmission and axle ratio is left blank; the spur is unknown rather than not applicable.
• Brushed Type 540 motor; 'ESC included for export', so Japanese-market kits ship without one.
• The tire diameter is the driven rear pair, 49/86mm; the front is 21/73mm.
• The original The Hornet (item 58336) and The Grasshopper (58346) are deliberately not listed: Tamiya publishes neither a gear ratio nor a tire diameter for them.
• Unassembled kit with no battery; the motor is brushed, so KV and cell count do not apply.
