Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft. How these numbers were settled
The nitro USA-1 (2024) runs a KE25SP2 engine through a 3-speed automatic transmission, and Kyosho's Technical Data gives 'Gear Ratio 25.7/19.8/15.6:1'.
- The top-gear total, 15.6:1, is shown here; first gear is 25.7:1 and second 19.8:1.
- The tire is 'φ164×104mm'.
- Kyosho's parts listing for this SKU names the 3-speed clutch bells (MA011E), the 3-speed spur gear (MA008), an 11T sprocket (MA010B) and the 43T axle ring gear (IF106), but not the clutch bell or spur tooth counts, so the pinion, spur and ratio after the spur are left blank.
- The maintenance manual fills the front and rear diffs with #3000 silicone oil.
