Stock is as the vehicle ships. Calculated is worked from the stock figures on this page rather than stored beside them, so the two cannot drift apart. Derived is worked out from gear tooth counts the maker publishes rather than printed as a ratio; the notes below say how. Not applicable means the vehicle does not come with it, like the motor on a roller or the tires on a race kit, or does not have one, like a KV rating on a brushed motor.
Gearing parts

| Fitted at the factory | ||||
| Pinion | 15T | Mod 1 | Not applicable | 5215 (opens in a new tab) |
| Spur | 36T | Mod 1 | Not applicable | 3953 (opens in a new tab) |
Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft. Linked part numbers go to the maker's or official distributor's page for that part.
How these numbers were settled
Nitro, so there is no Kv rating and no cell count, and the electric speed check does not apply.
- Traxxas's product page prints 'Gear Ratio (Internal): 15.75:1 (1st gear) 10.05:1 (2nd gear)' for the auto-shifting two-speed; these are complete ratios from the clutch bell to the wheels, and second (high) gear, 10.05, is shown as the final drive, with first gear at 15.75.
- The owner's manual gear ratio chart (p. 37) marks the same pair as stock: the 15T clutch bell, the 36T spur and the 18T/38T wide-ratio second-gear set.
- The parts list sets the 15-tooth clutch bell (5215) and the 36-tooth spur (3953) in regular type, and both part pages list this truck as a stock fitment.
- The ratio after the spur in second gear works out at 10.05 x 15 / 36 = 4.19.
- The tire diameter is the 4.3 in that Traxxas's parts list prints for the stock SCT tire (5871), converted to 109.2mm.
- Traxxas quotes 45 mph stock and 50+ mph with an optional 17-tooth clutch bell (5217), sold separately.

Every figure on this page traces to one of these. Where they disagreed, the note above says which was used and why.
