RC4WD Gelande II RTR Cruiser

How these numbers were settled

RC4WD's manual for this Gelande II Cruiser RTR prints the whole drivetrain: a 14T pinion on a 64T spur (4.57:1), the R3 single-speed transmission at 1.78:1, the Hammer transfer case at 1.47:1 and 15/40 axle gears at 2.67:1, for a printed final drive of 31.9:1.

• The ratio after the spur is the product of the three printed stages, 1.78 x 1.47 x 2.67 = 6.99, and 64/14 x 6.99 = 31.94 matches the printed total.
• The motor is RC4WD's 45T brushed 540 crawler can, so there is no KV.
• The Gelande II shares the Trail Finder 2 driveline: R3 transmission, Hammer transfer case and Yota II cast axles.
• The tires are BFGoodrich Mud Terrain T/A KM3 1.9; RC4WD's tire copy reproduced by RPP Hobby gives 'Outer Diameter: 4.09in / 103.9mm', so the diameter shows as estimated.
• The Outcry III ESC is rated '2-3S LiPo or 5-9 NiMH' in RC4WD's own ESC sheet; the truck ships with a 6-cell NiMH pack.
