RC4WD says "you should do things with passion or not at all," and that it wants "to provide you with the most scale products on the market without sacrificing quality."1 It adds that its products "have been selected by NASA" and have appeared on TV and in magazines in several countries.1

Known for

RC4WD is known for the scale detail of its trucks.3,8 Its accessories also fit other makers' crawlers, such as a complete metal bed and a winch bumper for the Vanquish VS4-10.9,10

Product portfolio

Everything in the range is a 1/10 scale trail truck, nearly all sold ready to run with brushed motors. The Trail Finder 2 rides on leaf springs5 under bodies such as the Chevrolet K10 Scottsdale and Blazer, the 1982 and 1985 Toyota pickups, the 1985 Toyota 4Runner and the 1987 Toyota XtraCab, in standard and long wheelbase (LWB) versions, and the Mojave II also comes as a truck kit. The Gelande II uses a 3 link suspension6 under Cruiser and Land Rover Defender D90 and D110 bodies. The C2X is a Class 2 competition truck, and the Marlin Crawler edition of the Trail Finder 2 came from a partnership with full-size off-roader Marlin Czajkowski.7
