Background
The MINI-Z Buggy Inferno MP9 TKI brings the Inferno body shape to an assembled small-scale buggy package. A 130-class motor, finished polycarbonate body and KT-531P transmitter are included, with four AAA running batteries and transmitter batteries purchased separately. The front and rear tires have the same printed diameter but different widths. Three pinion sizes and two spur sizes are supplied for setup changes; the product page does not identify which pair is installed.1 (opens in a new tab)

The MINI-Z buggy combines shaft-driven 4WD, a slipper clutch and oil-damped double-wishbone suspension at palm-size scale. The shell encloses much of the mechanism, while the radio supports an optional gyro. Its KT-531P transmitter uses FHSS 2.4GHz and is not compatible with older ASF, MHS or FHS 2.4GHz systems. Check that radio distinction before trying to pair equipment from another MINI-Z generation. Model and equipment information (opens in a new tab).

How to read these figures
- The listed front and rear rollouts match at equal axle-input RPM. The connection between axle inputs is not recorded, so its ability to accommodate a mismatch is unknown. These figures do not predict vehicle road speed.
- Stock is as the vehicle ships.
- Calculated is worked from the stock figures on this page rather than stored beside them, so the two cannot drift apart.
- Derived uses recorded dimensions or arithmetic. The row explains the inference. A nominal mating size is not a measured tolerance or a complete fitment guarantee.
- Not published means it exists but no source we could find prints it.

Upgrades and setup
The small Inferno already has oil shocks, 15 bearings and a slipper clutch. Start with tires and shock setup for the floor or track, then consider more motor only when the car is easy to place. Keep its different front and rear tire widths in mind when buying wheels, and service a leaking or inconsistent damper before replacing the complete suspension.[1] Exact numbered stock configuration (opens in a new tab)[2] Earlier buggy build purchases and later assembly context (opens in a new tab)
Check the exact radio and drivetrain version when browsing Mini-Z Buggy options. Older builds can contain discontinued parts or electronics intended for a different brushed or brushless package. A ball differential, larger tire or brushless conversion changes the loads on other components, so verify the whole combination before buying an aluminum parts collection.[1] Exact numbered stock configuration (opens in a new tab)[3] Exact maker option directory (opens in a new tab)[2] Earlier buggy build purchases and later assembly context (opens in a new tab)
