Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft. Linked part numbers go to the maker's or official distributor's page for that part.
How these numbers were settled
Nitro kit; the 21 class engine and the tires are sold separately.
- Kyosho's Technical Data gives 'Gear Ratio 12.19:1'.
- The spare-parts list gives a 0.8 module 16T clutch bell (97058LW-16), a 0.8 module 59T spur (IFW639-59S), and the 43T ring gear with a 13T drive bevel (IF406-43, IF407-13B), so 59/16 x 43/13 = 12.20 against the printed 12.19.
- The tire size is left blank.
- Kyosho's own spare-parts list for this kit is the source of the tooth counts.
