Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft. Linked part numbers go to the maker's or official distributor's page for that part.
How these numbers were settled
The front and rear axles are geared differently, so there is no single overall ratio.
- Hobby Plus's 1/18 specification chart gives a 13T/26T front ring and pinion, an 11T/28T rear ring and pinion and 15T/23T portal gears on both axles, with a 124.6:1 final drive for the front axle.
- The rear axle total is worked out from those tooth counts as 124.6 x (28/11) / (26/13) = 158.6:1.
- The single-speed transmission's pinion and first gear tooth counts are not published and are left blank.
- The motor is a Hobbywing 1621SL 3500kv outrunner on a Hobbywing Mini 24 ESC, which Hobby Plus sells as the V3 replacement part 240490 with a 2S-3S LiPo rating; the truck ships with a 2S 600mAh pack.
- The 60mm tire is from both the product page and the chart.
- No part number is given: HBP1810417-V3 and HBP1810416-V3 are the two colours.
