What it stands for

Hobby Plus calls itself "a conceptualizer, designer, manufacture, implementor and marketer of hobby grade radio controlled (RC) products," under the tagline "Elevate your RC Adventure."1 It builds its CR18P Evo crawlers around a "Low center of gravity minded design" and portal axles that give "Supreme clearance over traditional straight axles."8

Product portfolio

Everything comes ready to run. The 1/24 Speck series covers a 2WD buggy and a 2WD short course truck, each in brushed and brushless versions. The 1/18 CR18P crawlers make up the largest share: the Evo line with portal axles and a two-speed transmission, brushless single-speed CR18P and CR18P Pro models, and the Arktos 6x6.9 The Terranaut 8x8 and the DKR4 Fortis rally truck extend the 1/18 range.1

  2. 2022The Rock Van, built on the CR18P platform.3
  3. 2023Motion RC starts stocking its crawlers and parts in the United States.4
  4. 2025The CR18P Evo V2 Convoy, with a two-speed transmission shifted from the remote.5
  5. 2025The Terranaut 8x8, a 1/18 trail and recovery vehicle with active all-wheel steering.6
  6. 2025The Speck-B, a 1/24 micro buggy.7
