Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft. Linked part numbers go to the maker's or official distributor's page for that part.
How these numbers were settled
The product page prints the final drive as 124.6:1 in low gear and 31.15:1 in high gear; high gear is the figure kept.
- Hobby Plus's 1/18 specification chart gives 11T/28T ring and pinion gears and 15T/23T portal gears on all three axles, a 3.90 reduction in each axle.
- The motor pinion and transmission tooth counts are not published and are left blank.
- The motor is a big block 280 size brushed can, so there is no KV.
- The 2-in-1 ESC/RX is FlySky's FS-HBP-R6A3-BS, rated for 2S LiPo in the FlySky manual Hobby Plus posts for the Arktos.
- The 60mm tire is from both the product page and the chart.
- No part number is given: HBP1810601 and HBP1810602 are the two colours.
