About Infinity

What it stands for

Infinity says precise set-up adjustment "is vital to racers achieving success," and calls it the top priority of the IF14's design team from the start.7 It builds its cars with its drivers: the IF14-II, it says, is "almost an all new platform" worked out by "our designer and team drivers."8 The IF18-3 was likewise designed from data gathered by team drivers around the world.2

Known for

The IF14 started from the SMJ CX11 and was refined with the help of Infinity's factory on-road team.3 In 1/8 nitro on-road, the IF18-3 won the world title on its debut in 2023, with six of the ten cars in the final.2 The IF14 Speciale was billed as "the first car on the market to include an internal ratio adjustment system straight out of the box."4

Product portfolio

INFINITY's range is made up of race kits. In 1/10 there are electric touring cars, from the IF14 and IF14-II, with MID and front-wheel-drive versions, to the IF14 Speciale, plus the nitro IF15 and IF15-II touring cars and the IF11-II electric formula car.1 In 1/8 the IF18 and IF18-3 are nitro on-road cars, and the IFB8 off-road buggy comes in nitro form and as the electric IFB8EV.2

Racing record

Dario Balestri won the 2023 IFMAR 1/8 on-road World Championship with the IF18-3 on its debut, with six IF18-3s among the ten finalists.2 With the IF18-3 he took a fourth straight EFRA 1/8 on-road European title in 2026, his sixth in all.9 Also in 2026, Infinity driver Naoto Matsukura won the 1/10 nitro touring car world title, and Bruno Coelho won Infinity's first European 1/10 electric touring car title with the IF14 Speciale.5,6
