Background

Fast Attack Vehicle with Shark Mouth gives the revived military-style buggy an aircraft-inspired nose-art treatment. The markings, green areas and body lettering are supplied as stickers, while the driver, roll cage, headlights and machine gun preserve the scale detail of the Fast Attack design. Under the body is an ABS box chassis with a low-mounted battery and independent trailing-arm suspension. A rear-mounted 540 motor drives through a sealed differential gearbox and booted dogbone joints. Front rib tires and rear block-pattern tires have different diameters, so the rear measurement is used for drivetrain calculations. Model details (opens in a new tab).

Its two selectable gear combinations and friction dampers retain the straightforward original-style layout. Assemble the correct matched gears and inspect the driveshaft boots before increasing power. The Shark Mouth kit has its own 58539 identity and instructions; its graphics do not make it the original 1984 release. Model details (opens in a new tab).
