Stock is as the vehicle ships. Calculated is worked from the stock figures on this page rather than stored beside them, so the two cannot drift apart. The top speed is kinematic: an ideal no-load RPM with no slip and no loss under load, so a real car is slower.
How these numbers were settled
Treated as a basher, not a crawler: a 1/8 6S monster truck with 63mm of ground clearance and belted MT tires.
- Motor and cell count are Redcat's own: the product page names a '4068 2100kv 4-pole Brushless Motor' and a 'Hobbywing 150A Brushless (4S - 6S LIPO Ready)' ESC, and HobbyTown reproduces both, so 6S is a published ceiling rather than an inference from an included pack (none ships).
- The spur is Redcat part RER13884, listed as a 48T Mod 1 spur gear fitting both the Kaiju and the Kaiju EXT.
- The tire is Redcat part RER14467, the Interco Sniper M/T belted set, which the parts listing states 'comes standard on the Kaiju EXT' at 6.25in / 159mm outer diameter; that is a stock-fitment statement, so the diameter counts as sourced.
- The stock pinion is not published by Redcat or any parts listing found, and with no pinion there is no way to state a final drive, so the pinion, the transmission and axle ratio and the final drive are left blank.
- Graded sourced rather than verified because the spur and the tire diameter each rest on a single retailer reproduction of Redcat's parts data.
- No part number is given: RER14420 (white) and RER14656 (copper) are colour variants of the same truck and neither is the model's SKU.
- Gearing is from the Kaiju EXT manual's parts pages (p.44): a 12 tooth pinion (RER14465) on the 48T spur, and diffs with a 38T ring (RER12413) against a 13T pinion (RER12414), 38/13 = 2.92.
- Redcat prints no ratio, so the total is worked out: 48/12 x 2.92 = 11.69.
- One resale listing gives the same pinion part as 10T; the manual and the other listings say 12T.
