Stock is as the vehicle ships. Calculated is worked from the stock figures on this page rather than stored beside them, so the two cannot drift apart. Derived is worked out from gear tooth counts the maker publishes rather than printed as a ratio; the notes below say how. The top speed is kinematic: an ideal no-load RPM with no slip and no loss under load, so a real car is slower.
How these numbers were settled
The original Kaiju shares its geartrain with the Kaiju EXT, and Redcat's own parts pages list each gear for both trucks: RER14465 '12 Tooth Pinion Gear (Mod 1)', RER13884 '48T Metal Powder Spur Gear', RER12413 'Differential Ring Gear (38T)' and RER12414 'Differential Pinion Gear (13T)'.
- That gives 38/13 = 2.92 after the spur and 48/12 x 2.92 = 11.69 in total, as on the EXT.
- The tire is different: the Kaiju runs RER12485, which Redcat sizes as '3.15 x 5.90', a 5.90in (150mm) tire on a 3.15in width; a dealer listing rounds the same part to 6.00in (152mm) and says it comes on the Kaiju.
- The motor is a 2100KV Hobbywing brushless and the ESC is a 'Hobbywing 150A Brushless (4S - 6S LIPO Ready)', both from Redcat's product page.
- No battery ships.
