How these numbers were settled

The kit uses the R3 two-speed transmission, so its gearing is stored in high (2nd) gear.

• RC4WD's specification as carried by RPP Hobby prints a 14/64 pinion and spur (4.57:1), transmission ratios of 3.47:1 (1st) and 1.27:1 (2nd), the Hammer transfer case at 1.47:1 and Yota II axles at 15/40 = 2.67:1, with printed totals of 62.1:1 in 1st and 22.75:1 in 2nd.
• The ratio after the spur in 2nd is 1.27 x 1.47 x 2.67 = 4.98, and 64/14 x 4.98 = 22.79 agrees with the printed 22.75.
• Low gear is 62.1:1.
• Motor, ESC, radio, servos and battery are not included, so motor KV and the cell rating do not apply.
• The kit ships with Mud Thrashers 1.55 tires; RC4WD's tire copy reproduced by RPP Hobby gives 'Outer Diameter: 3.74" (95mm)', so the diameter shows as estimated.
