Gearing parts

Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft. How these numbers were settled

Horizon's spec table prints a 12T pinion, a 58T spur and a 1.3in (33mm) outer tire diameter.

• No after-spur ratio is published, so the ratios are left blank.
• It runs a 4.8V NiMH pack and a micro brushed motor, which has no KV rating; no LiPo rating exists for the speed control, so the cell count is left blank.
