What it stands for

Horizon credits "the hard-hitting durability that put the ECX brand on the map."10 Its lead developer on the Revenge buggies described the goal as "a user friendly, durable vehicle that has good handling characteristics at a very competitive price point."11

Product portfolio

Nearly all of the ECX range comes ready to run, with the Barrage Gen2 1.9 sold as a Build-To-Drive kit. Scales run from the 1/28 Micro Roost and the 1/24 Ruckus, Torment, Temper and Barrage up through 1/18 and 1/12 to the 1/10 trucks. Monster trucks make up the largest share, led by the Ruckus, AMP, Brutus and Axe, next to Torment short course trucks, Temper and Barrage crawlers, buggies and the Circuit stadium truck. Brushed motors power almost everything; the 1/10 Ruckus and Torment 2WD also came in brushless versions. Both 2WD and 4WD are offered.
