They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft (5 mm on the stock motor). How these numbers were settled
The 223S successor to the Vorteks 3S BLX V3 stadium truck, with a Spektrum Firma 3660 3100Kv motor and the Spektrum SLT 80A 2-in-1 ESC and receiver rated for 2S or 3S LiPo.
- Arrma prints no gear ratios for this SKU.
- The 18T pinion and the 57T centre diff spur come from Horizon's standard-parts list.
- Horizon's standard-parts list for this SKU names the 37T 1.35M front and rear diff sets and the 13T 1.35M input gears (37/13 = 2.846), the same pair Arrma prints as a 2.85 transmission and axle ratio on the Infraction 223S and the 3S V3 trucks, so 2.85 is used here.
- Final drive is 57/18 x 2.85 = 9.025.
- The stock tire is the dBoots Katar (ARA-1553), whose page prints an overall diameter of 4.53 in (115mm).
- Arrma quotes 50+ mph on 3S, and stock gearing computes to about 51 mph at 3.7V per cell.
