XRAY XT8'24

Gearing parts

Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft.

How these numbers were settled

Nitro truggy kit: engine, wheels and tires are on the manual's list of items to buy, so the tire size is left blank.

• The manual prints the kit gearing as (50 : 13) x 4.30 = 16.53, with the 13T clutch bell (#358513) and the 50T centre diff spur (#354950) marked as included.
• The 4.30 constant is the 43T diff bevel gear (#355043) against the 10T drive gear (#355108).
• The same manual also covers the electric XT8E'24, whose stock spur could not be read from it, so that version is not listed.
