Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft.
How these numbers were settled
Belt-driven 4WD touring kit, sold with a carbon (300042), 2mm aluminium (300043) or 1.5mm aluminium (300044) chassis and otherwise the same drivetrain.
- The manual marks the 110T/64P offset spur (#305880) as included; the spur sits on the layshaft with two 20T pulleys (#305579) driving a 38T pulley on the rear gear diff (#304912) and a 38T pulley on the front spool (#305168).
- The after-spur figure is worked out as 38/20 = 1.9, the internal ratio XRAY states for the same pulley layout on its T4 touring cars.
- Motor, pinion, speed controller and tires are not included.
