Gearing parts

Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft (3 mm on the stock motor). How these numbers were settled

The owner's manual gear chart (p. 26) marks a 23T pinion on the 47T center-diff spur, 5.82:1, as the out-of-box setup.

• The manual works the ratio as spur / pinion x 2.85, which is the 13/37 ring and pinion in each differential.
• The parts list sets the 23-tooth pinion (10840) and the 47-tooth spur (10761) in regular type as stock, and both part pages list this car as a stock fitment.
• A 20T pinion (2438) also comes in the box as included optional gearing, 6.69:1, which the chart suggests for an optional 3-cell pack or for more torque and run time on 2 cells.
• The product page prints no gear ratio.
• Traxxas sizes this car only as Mini and does not publish the rally tire's outer diameter, so the tire is left blank.
• The top speed shown is Traxxas's 40+ mph with the included 2-cell LiPo; it quotes 55+ mph with an optional 3-cell pack.
• The spur is described as 0.8 metric pitch, compatible with 32-pitch, so its pitch is left blank.
