How these numbers were settled

Roller.

• The PACK ships as a complete pre-assembled Gen8 chassis with transmission, transfer case and portal axles but no motor, ESC, radio, servo, battery, body, wheels or tires.
• The power system, the pinion, the resulting final drive and the tire diameter therefore do not apply to this SKU: they do not exist, rather than being unfound.
• The geartrain does exist: HobbyTown reproduces Redcat's line that the chassis takes 9-23T pinions 'from 28.12 to 71.85', which against the 45T spur (Redcat parts page RER11358, fitment list includes the Gen8) gives 45/9 x 14.37 = 71.85 and 45/23 x 14.37 = 28.12.
• The buyer's final drive is whatever pinion is fitted, times 14.37.
