Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft (5 mm on the stock motor). Linked part numbers go to the maker's or official distributor's page for that part.
How these numbers were settled
Hobao's page prints the 16T MOD 1 pinion and 48T MOD 1 spur, and the manual's parts list names them (89326, 85102).
- The ratio after the spur is the 43T crown gear (85111) against the 13T diff pinion (87028), 3.31:1, and the 9.92:1 total is worked out from those tooth counts.
- The 2000KV motor has a 5mm shaft and runs on a Hobbywing 150A speed control with a single XT90 plug.
- The 6S rating comes from Robitronic, which sells this version as the 150A 6S RTR; Hobao rates its 150A speed control for 4S to 6S on the VS2 Truggy.
- Robitronic also sells a 100A version (HB-VS2E-C100Y) with the same motor, gearing and tires, listed for 4S.
- Hobao prints only a 3.3 inch tread figure for the tires, which matches the wheel rather than the tire, so the tire diameter is left blank.
- Weight and size come from Robitronic.
