Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft. Linked part numbers go to the maker's or official distributor's page for that part.
How these numbers were settled
Hobao's product page and the manual's parts list agree on a 13T motor gear (11052) on the 40T spur (11373), with a 10T pinion driving a 39T crown gear in the front and rear diffs.
- The 12.0:1 total is worked out from those tooth counts; Hobao prints no overall ratio.
- The truck comes without motor, speed control, radio or servo, but the 13T motor gear is in the box and fitted in the manual's motor step.
- Hobao describes the tires only as 2.2/3.0 inch short course tires, which is the wheel size, so the tire diameter is left blank.
- The spec sheet on both the ARR and RTR pages gives one weight, 2870g, so no weight is shown for the ARR.
- The parts list offers 11T, 12T, 14T, 15T and 16T motor gears.
