Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft. Linked part numbers go to the maker's or official distributor's page for that part.
How these numbers were settled
Hobby Plus's page for the brushless Speck spur, idler and pinion set (250148), which sits in the Speck B Brushless replacement parts list, prints a standard ratio of a 12T 0.5M pinion on a 45T 0.5M spur for a 12.85:1 final drive.
- The reduction after the spur is worked out from that chart: 12.85 x 12 / 45 = 3.43.
- The motor is a Hobbywing 1626 8000kv 2-pole sensorless unit and the ESC a Hobbywing Mini 28, rated 2S maximum on its own parts page (250157) and in the manual.
- The page lists the wheels as 32.8mm front and 34.5mm rear outer diameter, but those are wheel figures and no tire diameter is published, so the tire is left blank.
- Colour variants carry MAG and YW suffixes on this base number.
