Arrma Mojave 6S EXB Roller

1/7 scale · desert truck · ARA7204

Specs

The Mojave 6S EXB Roller is a 1/7 four-wheel-drive desert truck roller from Arrma, sold without a motor, speed control, servo or radio.

It carries a 50T spur and a 4.3:1 internal ratio on 139 mm tires, with 1.0 module gears and 17 mm wheel hexes. The truck is 715 mm long on a 420 mm wheelbase, with room for a pack up to 158 mm long. You choose the pinion, so the final drive depends on that choice and the motor you fit. Pick the pinion and motor together, and check the motor shaft before ordering.

Sold without a motor, so there is no stock KV: compare gearing by rollout.

How to read these figures
  • Stock is as the vehicle ships.
  • Calculated is worked from the stock figures on this page rather than stored beside them, so the two cannot drift apart.
  • Not applicable means the vehicle does not come with it, like the motor on a roller or the tires on a race kit, or does not have one, like a KV rating on a brushed motor.

About teeth, pitch and bore
  • Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above.
  • Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close.
  • Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft.

How these numbers were settled

A roller sold without a motor, ESC, servo or radio, so there is no pinion, final drive, Kv or cell rating to publish.

  • Horizon's page prints Spur Gear 50T, Gear Pitch 1.0MOD and Internal Gear Ratio 4.3, and prints Final Drive Ratio only as a range, 9.77 - 17.92, that depends on the pinion fitted.
  • The tire is the dBoots Fortress 2.4/3.3 pre-mounted set, a standard part of this SKU on Horizon, and its own page prints an Overall diameter of 5.47 in (139mm).
  • The 50T spur is ARA310978, also a standard part of this SKU.
  • Horizon prints Top Speed 60+, which depends on the motor and pack fitted, so it is not recorded.
  • The ready-to-run Mojave 6S BLX EXB is a separate listing that adds a pinion, a motor and an ESC.
  • Big Squid RC announced this roller in October 2020.
