Specs

Yokomo's Super Dog Fighter Works'91 Team Spec is a 1/10 four-wheel-drive buggy kit with the motor and electronics supplied separately.

The kit pairs a 21T pinion with an 84T spur, and both gears use 48-pitch teeth. That gives a defined starting point for choosing a motor, while the final drive also depends on the belt-drive reduction. Tire diameter and the complete reduction still need confirming before estimating speed. Check the Team Spec supplement alongside the main manual when building the drivetrain.

Sold without a motor, so there is no stock KV: compare gearing by rollout.

How to read these figures
  • Stock is as the vehicle ships.
  • Calculated is worked from the stock figures on this page rather than stored beside them, so the two cannot drift apart.
  • Not applicable means the vehicle does not come with it, like the motor on a roller or the tires on a race kit, or does not have one, like a KV rating on a brushed motor.
  • Not published means it exists but no source we could find prints it.

About teeth, pitch and bore
  • Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above.
  • Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close.
  • Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft.

How these numbers were settled

The Team Spec supplement explicitly incorporates the Works'91 base manual.

  • Its bag contents include an 84T spur, and the base manual supplies the 21T pinion.
  • Both use 48-pitch teeth.
  • The Team Spec replaces the front drive pulley with a center one-way unit whose tooth count was not confirmed, so the internal and final-drive ratios remain unpublished here.
  • Stock tires are supplied, but their outer diameters were not found; the 2.2-inch tire labels describe the wheel size.
  • Motor and electronics are separate purchases.
