Background
The RC18T brought shaft-driven four-wheel drive to a compact ready-to-run truck. The 20100 package included a painted body, radio, steering servo, Super 370 brushed motor and XPS speed control, together with its battery equipment. Oil-filled shocks and adjustable differentials gave the small truck a recognizable race-car layout. Factory feature sheet (opens in a new tab)

The 20102 Factory Team kit used the same truck family with threaded aluminum shocks, metal dogbones and titanium links, but left the electrical system to the builder. The shared RC18 instructions distinguish truck, buggy and monster-truck gearing and suspension. Use the truck branch when selecting towers, wheel equipment and gears, and check whether later parts have been fitted to a surviving example. Factory instructions (opens in a new tab)

How to read these figures
- Stock is as the vehicle ships.
- Calculated is worked from the stock figures on this page rather than stored beside them, so the two cannot drift apart.
- Estimated is an approximation, not a manufacturer-published specification. Motor KV and estimated performance use the linked no-load measurement for that motor family; the vehicle's motor may differ. Speed assumes the stated pack, with no load or losses.
- Single report uses one outside source. It is useful as a starting figure, with the source and calculation described in the note.
- Not applicable means the vehicle does not come with it, like the motor on a roller or the tires on a race kit.
- Not published means it exists but no source we could find prints it.

Build and setup
Factory setup guide for this configuration.
Check the differential balls, outdrive cups and dogbone springs before increasing power. The shared instructions give the truck and buggy a 14T pinion with the standard 60T spur, while the monster truck has a separate 10T branch. Match the truck shock towers and wheel equipment, and check that the motor’s pinion lines up with the spur. Follow the Factory Team callouts when replacing the adjustable links or threaded dampers.[1] RC18T RTR factory assembly and setup instructions (opens in a new tab)

About these specs
RC18T truck gearing: standard 60T spur and 14T B/T pinion in shared factory instructions.

- The 10T monster-truck pinion is a separate branch.
- Period pack references are not a modern LiPo rating.
- The 58 mm tire diameter is an estimate reconstructed from the manufacturer's 2009 RC18B/RC18T brushless gearing chart.
- It is a working chart reference; the original mounted tire diameter was not measured.
