Background
The original RC10T was designed as a racing truck rather than a buggy conversion. Its early factory manual describes longer suspension arms, truck-specific wheels and tires, an aluminum chassis and the Stealth transmission shared with the RC10 Team Car. Associated’s later historical material places the original truck’s introduction in 1991. Period factory material (opens in a new tab) Team and Sport packages (opens in a new tab)

Kit 7035 is the later Team Truck package described in the period feature sheet, with bearings, hard-anodized dampers and universal rear axles. The early factory manual shows both narrow and wide front-wheel arrangements. Identify the fitted suspension and transmission before using that manual for a later truck, and keep the 7011 Sport package and retro releases separate when ordering replacements. How to read these figures
- Stock is as the vehicle ships.
- Calculated is worked from the stock figures on this page rather than stored beside them, so the two cannot drift apart.
- Not applicable means the vehicle does not come with it, like the motor on a roller or the tires on a race kit.
- Not published means it exists but no source we could find prints it.
Build and setup
Factory setup guide for this configuration.
Use the later 7035 Team equipment list when identifying replacement axles, wheels and dampers. The early truck instructions show more than one front-wheel arrangement, so inspect the actual front axle and bearing sizes before buying wheels. Confirm the installed transmission and rear hub configuration before choosing gears or universal axles. A truck rebuilt with later parts needs to be identified by those components as well as its chassis.[1] RC10T Team Truck factory assembly material (opens in a new tab)
