Gearing parts

Tooth counts are the ones in the specifications above. Pitch is given as metric module (Mod 1, Mod 0.8) or diametral pitch (32P, 48P). They are different standards and are not interchangeable, even where the numbers look close. Bore is the pinion’s hole, listed separately from the motor shaft.

How these numbers were settled

Electric 1/8 GT kit.

• The manual prints 'Gear Ratio: C:57/21T, F/R 45/13T', lists one 21T high density motor pinion in the kit, and states it comes standard with a 57T spur and 45T/13T overdrive gears. 45/13 = 3.4615 after the spur, and 57/21 x 3.4615 = 9.40 is worked out, not printed.
• Motor, ESC, tires and wheels are not included, so KV and cell rating do not apply and the tire size is left blank.
